Type and location Residential, Pitman, NJ
Description Residence had this utility metal barn on back premises which was well suited for solar. Some south obstructing trees but distant enough from the tall barn structure precluding any need for tree trimming
Comments There are many kinds of metal roofs and almost all have a standing seam which can be thin or hollow and wide. This was a wide seam so module support rails were attached thru the roof to underlying truss work. In cases where the seam is taller and thin, the rails are fastened through the top of the seam, with no roof penetrations.
Design Information Design submitted to State by R. Barbarics for original configuration and then change-ordered to just under 10 KW for rebate compliance. Array consists of 51 polycrystalline modules.
